Positive Notes is a project that was started by Dawnmarie Salmons, Music Clubhouse Director at The Edgerley Family South Boston Boys and Girls Club. The project aims to teach club members the importance of being an active member in their community through music projects that are hosted in South Boston. Students learn how music, the universal language, can be given to others as a gift to help make the world a better place.

Our Feel Good Mixtape is one of these community projects we have completed during the 2016 Summer Camp at the Club. The mixtape is collection of songs that we felt were empowering to our club members and the surrounding community. Staff and students recorded the instrumental music and club members sang the lyrics to each song. With this Feel Good Mixtape, we look forward to brightening your day one positive note at a time.
